Alternate Outfit

Select your character and hold START and press X, Y, or B to begin the game.

Cheat Select

Play the VMU mini-game to open up the following cheats in original mode: eternal life, area select, free continue and free time limit.

Level select

Select fighting mode. Then while selecting a character, hold Start.

Weapon select in episode 5

Just before you fight the gate keeper is a van with boxes and zombies. There is a door on the far left. Walk up to the door and open it . You can choose three weapons to place in a weapon bag once Inside

Change blood color

Beat all 3 ‘Original Modes’. Go to the option window and you should see a new option open, ‘BLOOD COLORS’

Weapon trick with first Boss

When the boss is dead, you can pull a pipe out of his carcass.

Get all bosses up to Zed

At press start screen, let demos run through intro, fighting demos, then best agent screen. Then go to fighting mode. Play one match against the cpu, win, and then exit. Highlight vs boss mode and press start and A. At the select character screen, press start and A again. It should give you all bosses up to Zed.

Hidden items in Biological Weapon (Industrial Sewage) Plant level

Note the fan at the beginning of the Biological Weapon (Industrial Sewage) Plant level. Shoot it (you can not use a button) to collect some hidden items.

Hidden room

Once you have reached the end level (The Sewer), kill everything in the first area. Get to the next area with the zombie standing on the ledge. There is a boarded up door at this location. Punch the door and press B to enter a secret room that contains weapons, such as a dual hand gun. Note: A zombie is in the room, off to the right side.

Elixir

Immediately after you enter the House Of The Dead, fight the zombies. Kill them then, go to the stairs. Press the Y on the wall to open a hidden passage that leads to the Elixir.

Climb into train

On the train level, press Y on the second carriage somewhere along the right-hand side and you can climb into the train.

Easy Level Up

On most scenes, if you failed the mission or retreat, the scene will start over. However, your experience points and level remain the same. Use this technique to gain experience points, then try to start the scene over again and keep destroying LEVs. Do the same thing over again as many times as needed to gain a large amount of experience points.

Wrong attacks

Like the Split Sword glitch, this can also happen in other instances. If you have completed the game, you will know these situations.

Wrong split sword

In the mission where you must rescue Robin and you get your first OF, get to the factory with Edge. Put any LEV directly in front of where Ned appears. When Mebius appears, she will be behind the LEV so she is not next to Ned, but she will use Split Sword anyway, which would not normally happen.

Alternate ending sequences

Kill more enemies than the Mars Angels in scene 12 to unlock the 25 scene ending. Destroy less enemies than the Mars Angels in scene 12 to unlock the 24 scene ending.

Upgrades

If you want to get the best attack for your OFs and Levs, level up past 45. Some of the attacks are 155mm: Cage; Geyser: Twede; Final Blow: Myona.

Additional Saved Game Slots

While there seems to be only three save slots, there are actually fifteen. Press Right to access them.

Power up

Press 1-6 to light up respective power up and press Return to activate it.

Random wrestler

Type gk42.

Invincible wrestler

Type Geeksoft under a wrestler where it says stable. To disable, remove “Geeksoft” from under that wrestler’s name.

Hero’s Hall

Sometimes a Hero’s Hall must be built in certain places. For example, Thesues’ Hall needs to be built by the palace, surrounded by walls and have good appeal. On maps where space is at a premium this can be difficult to accomplish. To get around this, after you have filled the requirements to summon the hero, and while the hero is on his/her way to the city, you can demolish the hall and any of the structures you had to build to meet the requirements. Then, rebuild the hall anywhere that is connected to a road. The hero will not care and will serve your city as usual.

Cheat Codes

Within the game, hold down CTRL and type the following cheats:

tetsuo = God Mode

ack = Oxygen (replenishes life)

Weapons

Hold [Ctrl] and type psion.

Level select

Hold [Alt] + [Esc] and select the “New Game” option.

Money

Press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [Shift] + D during game play and watch your money increase. Repeat to get more money. Note: Do not do this too many times or you will end up with a negative amount.

Play as the enemy

At the main menu, press Right, Down, Down/Right, Down, Down/Left, Left, Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, the “Game Start” option will turn red. Then, select “Game Start” to access a menu that will allow all bosses and some enemies to be selected for game play.

Extra hard difficulty

At the main menu, hold Left for three seconds, then press Right. Next, press Circle, Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, the “Option” selection will turn red. Then, enter the option menu to change the difficulty setting to extra hard.

Versus mode

At the main menu, press Down, Circle, Right, Square, Up, X, Left, Triangle. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound. Then a versus mode option will be available.
